Upcoming Research Conferences

CSU Council on Ocean Affairs, Science & Technology (COAST) Annual Meeting.

Dear CSU colleagues,
The CSU Council on Ocean Affairs, Science & Technology (COAST) will hold its Annual Meeting online this year on Friday, November 13, 2020. We are actually excited about the online format because it allows anyone in the CSU who is interested to attend.
Please see the draft agenda below and visit our website for more detailed information with links. Anyone from the CSU (faculty, students, staff, administrators) is invited to join the meeting for all or just for specific parts. You are welcome to pop in and out to catch the parts you want to see. REGISTER for the meeting
I strongly encourage anyone interested in strategies to increase diversity, equity and inclusion to join us for the panel beginning at 11:00 am. We have a fantastic panel and are really looking forward to their presentations and the discussion with questions from meeting attendees afterward. Please consider attending for at least that portion of the meeting!
We also have 19 lighting talks lined up for 1:00-3:30 pm. These 5-minute talks are a great way to connect with someone whose research you are interested in and to suss out possible future collaborations. STUDENTS: you are very encouraged to check out the lightning talks as a way to learn more about research going on in the CSU! Right now the talks are listed in order by the presenter's last name but we'll be posting a schedule with times for each talk and will group them by topic to the extent possible.
Please contact me with any questions and we hope to see you on Nov. 13! REGISTER for the meeting
